We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable, and the data protection law of the United Arab Emirates, in particular Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (UAE PDPL).
Hosting and server logs
This website runs on servers in Germany ([hosting provider]). When you visit it, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted or anonymised as soon as they are no longer needed for this purpose.
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address and, if provided, your name, phone number, company, number of orders, current software, sales channels and your message. We also store the time and wording of your consent and a shortened, irreversible hash of your IP address to prevent misuse.
We use this data to inform you about the launch of SELLUNIQ and the test phase, to contact you by email or phone if you wish and to shape the product according to merchants' input. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is processed on our own infrastructure, without external form or newsletter services.
We store the data until you withdraw your consent, and no longer than 12 months after the launch of SELLUNIQ if you do not become a customer.
Access from the United Arab Emirates
Where employees of VICO - FZCO access data from the United Arab Emirates, this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Cookies, consent and third-party services
Without your consent, this website does not set cookies and does not load third-party services. The only thing we store as technically necessary is your choice in the consent banner, in your browser's local storage (Section 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). To document your decision, we log a random identifier, the time, the version and your choice, without your IP address (Art. 7(1) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We only load statistics and marketing services after you consent in the banner (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For providers based outside the EU or with a parent company outside the EU, for example in the USA, data may be transferred there; this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45, 46 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.
We use these services with your consent:

We use Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow only to register the website with search engines. No visitor data is transferred in the process. Fonts are loaded from our own server.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. An email to hello@selluniq.com is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
